Stretchy Putty

Recipe submitted by Rick on April 26th, 2010

Stretchy putty is fun for kids to make and play with. Use green food colouring and pretend it's snot. Prefect for Halloween.

Prep time:   5 minutes
Servings:   how much you want

Ingredients:
1 part liquid starch
2 parts white glue (craft glue like PVA)
A few drop of food colouring

Directions:
Pour glue into bowl. Gradually add starch and colour. Let stand for 5 minutes. Mix with hands until smooth and rubbery. If it's too gooey, add more starch. If it's too hard add more glue. Store in airtight container in the fridge.
