Butter biscuits are great plain or decorated with icing.
Prep time: 10 minutesIngredients:
225g butter
200g sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 Tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
285g flour
Directions:
Place all ingredients except flour into food processor. Mix until fluffy.
Stir flour through by hand.
Place in fridge for about 2 hours until firm.
Roll out half mix at a time until 1/2cm thick. Cut with your favourite cookie cutters into fun shapes.
Bake on baking sheet at 200°C, until edges are golden brown (approximately 6 to 10 minutes).
Allow to cool before icing.
