The Church of Good Shepherd on the shores of Lake Tekapo is arguably one of the most photographed of New Zealand's buildings. The church itself is relatively small but the surrounding scenery is so utterly stunning I can see why it is such a popular wedding venue. The church which opened in 1935 was built to commemorate the original Pakeha settlers of the area.
